The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church is one of the world’s most ancient Christian churches, tracing its origins back to the Apostles. As a proud member of the Oriental Orthodox family, our church has been a beacon of faith for centuries. Ethiopia holds a unique place in Christian history as the first nation to embrace Christianity as its official religion. From the very beginning, the seeds of Christianity planted by the Apostles have shaped our faith, culture, and way of life.
